The Lone Star is privileged and proud to herald the opening our third Café in the Garden City. We have lovingly refurbished the historic Bush Inn Hotel, situated on the corner of Waimairi and Riccarton Road. The “Bush” is a Heritage Building, protected by the Historic Places Trust. Instantly recognizable, the façade has changed little since it was established in 1865, when it doubled as a hotel and horse training stables. The Riccarton Loney is already rocking and we welcome you to join us for a meal and a quiet (or loud!) drink in our beautiful Johnny Cash Bar- admire the memorabilia and relax to the sounds from “The Man in Black” and other Country Music legends whilst waiting for your table. Our restaurant seats around 160 guests and in addition we offer the use of a private function room that will comfortably accommodate a further 50 people. This room houses a plasma TV( as does our Cash Bar), a separate, state of the art, sound system and is perfect for celebrating together in your own space, at your own pace. Simply give us a call with regards to your needs and we’ll look after the rest. We also have an outside dining area that will seat 20-25 guests.
